Sulin Lau is the Regional Head of Marketing and Brand at Grab.
Growing up as the nerdy daughter of an obsessive history buff, Sulin dreamed of wandering the world as a journalist — but fate intervened, and she ended up in marketing instead. She went on to lead brand strategy teams at BBDO and DDB, and later led marketing and e-commerce teams for 2 telcos.
Before Grab, Sulin was the SEA Head of Agency Partnerships at Facebook, helping media and creative agencies make the most of Facebook and Instagram to build brands. At Grab she oversees the superapp’s brand globally and leads B2C and B2B marketing across all countries.
After hours, Sulin enjoys exploring Singapore’s obscure bookshops and colorful fringes while being foster mom to rescued strays.
