Bass is a global marketer with a passion for growing businesses and brands.

With more than 17 year experience in working with the world’s bigger brands as well as SEA’s fastest growing unicorns, Bass is known for his ability to comfortably code switch between data, creativity, and storytelling.

His approach is to combine the best of marketing science and marketing art in order to then apply creativity as a weapon for business growth.

After being advisor to the founders of RevoU, OxSteet and Zenyum, Bass left adland and joined Zenyum full-time as CMO. He is now responsible for the global Marketing P&L and oversees all initiatives across Paid, Performance, Organic, PR, SEO, CRM, Retail, Product and Brand marketing across 9 markets.

Prior to joining the start-up world, Bass worked for 15 years in advertising where he started as graduate trainee and rose to be MD of 72andSunny where he partnered with Heads of Marketing, CMOs and Founders of SEA’s biggest unicorns and consumers brands (from Grab & Carousell to airasia & Google) to drive brand transformation and growth.

When he first joined 72 he headed up Global Samsung Mobile and Global adidas out of AMS across product launches and brand campaigns. Overseeing a 60+ strong team split across our AMS, NY, LA & SG offices. Prior to that, he spent 10+ years working for international agencies around the world such as BBH Asia Pacific, Agency.com, Media Arts Lab and TBWA\London partnering with Nike, Google, British Airways, Apple and PlayStation.
