For over 30 years, Richard has been soaking in experiences and culture, traveling, living and working across Asia, Europe, Oceania and the US. Richard has been lucky enough to start, build, change, reform, merge, acquire, adapt, grow and lead a wide range of award-winning independent and multinational agencies. And has even sampled life as a marketer himself, working from 'the other side of the table' with the world’s most awarded agency.

At the beginning of 2010, Richard launched the global marketing management consultancy, The Observatory, into Asia Pacific, with the goal of transforming Marketer-Agency partnerships and performance. This premise has seen steady growth, with office openings in Japan and Korea, and retained clients across all key markets in the region.

Matty is Creative Chief of Google Zoo, leading a specialised team of creatives, technologists and strategists working across Asia Pacific on Google’s most valuable and strategic partnerships. For the last twenty years Matty has worked in the creative fields working at some of the world’s most renowned creative agencies including The Glue Society, Saatchi & Saatchi NZ, Droga5 NYC and TBWA. Before joining Google he co-founded Special Group which is the current back to back branding and design agency of the year in Australia and Special Group Studios, a permanent art gallery in the heart of Surry Hills. Erica Kerner is vice president of marketing and communications for Tiffany & Co. Asia Pacific. In this role she is responsible for all aspects of Tiffany's marketing and communications planning, strategy and implementation across all retail channels and all Asia Pacific countries.

She held a similar position at Ralph Lauren prior to joining Tiffany in 2013 and brings to her role more than 20 years of marketing experience in Asia Pacific, specifically Greater China. Working for adidas as director of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, she was responsible for all aspects of the company's marketing, sponsorship, licensing and business development activities. Erica and her team won China's first ever Cannes Gold Lion for the adidas Olympics campaign. Erica held the same role for adidas at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Before joining adidas, Erica was director of marketing and communications for Special Olympics China, helping to develop the program from 50,000 to 500,000 participants. In addition, as an account director at J. Walter Thompson Shanghai, she was responsible for creative advertising development, product development and retail marketing for DeBeers and PepsiCo.

Prior to joining WFA, Stephan worked for L'Oréal in Paris and Brussels. He studied business economics at the Saint Gall Business School in Switzerland, after which he worked at the United Nations in New York.

As Asia-Pacific CEO, Kyoko Matsushita oversees Essence’s rapidly expanding regional operations through hubs in Delhi, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. Before Essence, Matsushita was vice president of global product and business for GREE, a leading mobile gaming company. Earlier, she led B2C marketing for online and mobile games for Electronic Arts in EMEA and APAC. Matsushita also oversaw media and creative strategy for SONY Europe and was global account director for Leo Burnett/Starcom Media, where she worked on accounts like Coca-Cola, Disney, and Heineken.

Liz Miller brings a varied career that spans over 25 years in the Marketing, Sports and Entertainment, Retail, Health, Beauty and Personal Care spaces. Miller joined the operating partner of the CMO Council, GlobalFluency, in 2006, leading consumer marketing services engagements, quickly assuming the role of marketing and operations leader for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council.

As the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Miller oversees all business strategy, marketing, research and program operations, as well as serving as the lead analyst for all research initiatives and reports. Along with oversight of event, content and digital teams, Miller can most often be found hosting one of the CMO Council’s many executive Dinner Dialogs or presenting CMO Council research findings at global conferences and thought leadership events.

Mark has overall responsibility for all WPP’s media businesses in the region including its media agencies Mindshare, Mediacom , Wavemaker and Essence plus the programmatic digital media platform Xaxis. GroupM invests $27bn on behalf of its clients in Asia Pacific with a market share of 39% (source RECMA). Major clients include Unilever, HSBC, Google, Nike, Ford, P&G, L’Oreal, Pepsi , Huawei , Alibaba and LVMH. Having started his media career in London at Clear Channel and moved on in 1988 to Ogilvy & Mather progressing by 1994 to Media Group Director. In 1996 he joined 20:20 Media becoming Managing Director before moving to Tokyo in late 2000 to join Mindshare as Japan CEO. His role was extended in 2002 to North Asia to include China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea and relocated to Hong Kong in 2003. In 2006 he assumed the role of GroupM North Asia CEO and in 2010 became the CEO of GroupM Asia Pacific. Mark until recently was a board director of CASBAA the Asia Pacific pay TV body and is on the fund-raising committee of Mother’s Choice a HK based charity helping young mothers with crisis pregnancies.

David is responsible for one of the largest media budgets in a diverse region spanning 14 time zones. He is responsible for driving the company’s innovation in Communications Channel Planning with a strong focus on Unilever’s development as a major force in digital marketing in the region.

David was educated at Dulwich College, London and later at the Open University Business School, UK. He spent 25 years in UK agencies before a 7-year stay in Asia Pacific with Mindshare, where he managed the agency’s multimarket relationship with Unilever.

He joined Unilever in 2010 and has managed its media operations in multiple markets including APAC.

Ruth has over 25 years’ experience in Media and Digital Marketing. She joined iProspect Asia Pacific to oversee the search and performance marketing services and accelerate the digital media capabilities across the group in 2011. Prior to this, Ruth held leadership roles with Mediabrands and GroupM Interaction Asia Pacific in the capacity of founding CEO, and spent 10 years with Euro RSCG Worldwide heading its digital media operations in New York, Hong Kong and Sydney.

During her five years as CEO for iProspect Asia Pacific, Ruth increased the business from 40 people to over 1,000, brought seven businesses into iProspect through acquisition and achieved over 50% growth in revenue YOY.

Mark Rogers is Vice President, Asia Pacific for Dow Jones. Leading the regional team in Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, India and Beijing, he manages advertising sales for Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal’s print, digital and conference products in the region, including local language sites in China and Japan.

Previously, Mr. Rogers was executive director based in Hong Kong, a role he held from July 2013 to February 2014. Prior to that, he was head of digital for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for The Wall Street Journal, a role held from 2009 to 2013.

He first joined Dow Jones in 2007 as a member of the London-based advertising sales team. Prior to joining Dow Jones, Mr. Rogers worked for Archant Life London, a UK publishing house producing luxury lifestyle magazines and digital media properties. Prior to that, Mr. Rogers worked for Stamford Hotels & Resorts in marketing, based in Sydney, Australia.

Mr. Rogers received a Bachelor’s degree from University of the West of England, Bristol.

Karim Temsamani oversees all of Google’s sales and operations across the AsiaPacific region, determining the strategy for 16 offices and the regional business strategy for Google products including AdWords, AdMob, Google Maps, Google Apps for Business, DoubleClick Ad Exchange, YouTube and AdSense. Prior to this, he was Google’s Global Head of Mobile. He oversaw the growth of Google’s mobile advertising business worldwide, leading the teams charged with providing advertising services and solutions to thousands of advertisers, developers, and publishers. From 2007 to 2010, Karim was Managing Director, Google Australia and New Zealand, leading its business and strategic partnerships in those countries. Karim joined Google from Fairfax Media, where he was Commercial Director for Newspapers (responsible for agency and group sales, trade marketing and business development) and Group Director, Fairfax General Magazines. From 1999 to 2002, he was the Publisher and Vice President of Who Weekly at Time Inc., South Pacific.
