In that pursuit, Lynn works closely with corporate executives, influencers and mentors across the industry to develop programs that empower women to achieve their professional goals. At every stage of their careers.

Lynn joined AWNY in 2012, and immediately embarked with her Board of Directors on a journey to reimagine the organization. Recognizing the industry had become more than just advertising, and more than just New York, they looked to rebrand the organization, expand into new geography, and refresh the mission.

Severine is the Global Chief Talent Officer for Publicis Media, based in London. In this role, she oversees an organization comprising about 17,000 talent, in 72 cities.

Severine has over 20 years’ experience in Corporate Communications, Organizations Development and Talent Management. She has been working for the Publicis Groupe since 2000, in various capacities across Advertising, Digital and Media agency networks, lived in 4 different countries and spent over 10 years in the Asia Pacific region.

A true entrepreneur, innovative, relentless and very close to the business, Severine has created and implemented most of the talent and change management programs that have been rolled out across Publicis, VivaKi and ZenithOptimedia networks in the past 10 years.

A founding member of VivaWomen, Publicis Groupe Women network, she is actively involved in supporting diversity programs and female leadership development inside the Group.

A mother of four, she passionately talks about work-life balance and likes to engage with groups of young female executives to share her experience and provide tips on building a career and a family successfully.

Lynette has been in advertising for 6 years at JWT, working on a range of international and local accounts, leading projects across all key touchpoints. She spent the last 3 years driving digital transformation for Changi Airport Group, and setting up and leading the APAC hub for Finnair marketing based out of Singapore.

In 2015, Lynette was awarded Young Talent of the Year at the 2015 Institute of Advertising Singapore Hall of Fame Awards, and a member of JWT’s global High Potentials Club.

Brave by nature with a soft spot for the unfamiliar; she is a do-er, proud of being the driving force behind successful work. This attitude constantly pushes her to deliver, ensuring that good work be delivered on-time and on-brief, and also helps her sleep at night.
Bob Grove

Bob Grove oversees Edelman in North Asia, with 10 offices across mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. Previously, Bob led Edelman’s Southeast Asia operations for eight years. Edelman Southeast Asia grew by ten times under his leadership.

Prior to joining Edelman, Bob worked for a global business-to-business technology provider as the director of marketing in Asia Pacific, where he was eventually appointed managing director of its North Asia operations. Despite the bursting of the tech-bubble, he grew the North Asia business by 70 percent during that time.
Julia Heffring
Global Network Communications Manager
iProspect, Singapore

Julia is the Global Network Communications Manager at iProspect based in Singapore. In this role, she works with iProspect’s Global President, global marketing team and regional leadership to ensure design and delivery of internal and external communication strategies delivers positive outcomes for iProspect at a global, regional and local level.

In 2015, Julia graduated from the University of Georgia with honors, earning bachelor degrees in Psychology, Sociology and Criminal Justice. Keen to move abroad and having worked across a variety of internships, she refocused her job search towards digital media, accepting a job as Regional Business Development Executive for iProspect in Singapore. In her time at iProspect, Julia has become very involved in the development of One @ Dentsu Aegis, Dentsu Aegis Network’s Asia Pacific diversity initiative, and helped launch The Female Foundry Accelerator Programme in 2016.
Lucy Hockings

Lucy Hockings is a lead presenter on BBC World News, anchoring its flagship programme GMT. She has anchored rolling coverage for the BBC on all the major news events of the past decade - from the Asian tsunami to the terrorist attacks in Paris and the 2016 US Presidential election.

Lucy also anchors major news events on location; from Capitol Hill in Washington to the European Parliament in Brussels bringing live and breaking news from the heart of the story.

Over the years Lucy has interviewed everyone from presidents and prime ministers to film stars and decision makers.
Kathryn Jacob

Kathryn is CEO of Pearl & Dean and in her pre-cinema life she worked in national newspapers, magazines and radio.

After the sale of Virgin Radio she worked in a cross-platform role, at Scottish Media Group, which encompassed television, posters, radio and cinema. Obviously wanting to spend her life eating popcorn and watching films, she joined Pearl & Dean as CEO.

Since then, Pearl & Dean has started selling ads on ships and partnering up with pop-up cinemas to bring an upmarket and discerning audience to brands outside of the cinema walls. If that wasn’t enough, new initiatives include film partnerships and product placement.

Outside of work Kathryn sits on the board of Women’s Aid, the Development Board at RADA, the board of the Association of Colleges and the Council and Board of the Advertising Association. She’s on the Government Expert Group on Body Confidence. She has two children, a lovely husband and not enough hours in the day.

Joanne has been with TBWA for 20 years. As CEO for Greater China, Joanne is responsible for leading TBWA offices in the region. TBWA uses its trademark Disruption® methodologies to develop business-changing and culture-defining ideas for brands. Major Greater China clients include Apple, Adidas, Airbnb, McDonald’s, Michelin, SmarTone and Standard Chartered Bank.

Prior to this, Joanne was Managing Director of TBWA Hong Kong and before this held various brand leadership and business development roles at TBWA Group Singapore. Joanne also spearheads Omniwomen in Greater China, an initiative to influence and increase the number of women leaders in Omnicom.
Aarie Li

Aarie Li joined the media industry through the first GroupM Apprenticeship Program in 2014 after graduating from Hong Kong Polytechnic University where she studied BBA Marketing.

She has been had two years of experience at MediaCom, and covers a broad range of clients including theme parks, fashion & home appliances.

Her current role is as a planner specializing in accounts on FMCG and F&B categories for integrated media planning
Jean Lin

After joining Aegis Media in in 2004, the agency became Isobar’s first Greater China office and was the driving force behind Isobar’s expansion in the Asia Pacific region. Promoted to Isobar Global CEO in March 2014, Jean is based in Shanghai to lead one of the fastest growing, full service digital agency networks in the world, with over 5,500 talented digital pioneers across 85+ locations in 45 markets worldwide. In January 2016, Jean was appointed a member of Global Executive Team at Dentsu Aegis Network, Isobar’s parent company.

Jean was named one of 30 global “Women to Watch” by Advertising Age in 2009; ranked amongst Asia Pacific’s top female talent in 2010 and selected as one of the region’s Top 5 CEOs by Campaign Asia Pacific in 2013. Under her leadership, Campaign Asia Pacific has awarded Digital Agency Network of the Year Isobar five times in the past six years. Jean is known for her keen interest in the progress of creativity, serving as Jury President for the Cannes Lions Cyber Jury in 2015 and taking to the main stage at the festival in 2016 to champion Ideas Without Limits.

Outside of work, Jean plays the piano and volunteers at China Cedar Project, a project dedicated to funding high school and college education for high potential students, in smaller towns in China.

Continuing on as CEO of Isobar China Group, Jane currently leads five digital agencies with more than 1,000 people across six cities. Isobar China Group has seen a six-fold increase over the last four years and is one of the fastest-growing and most established digital agencies in China in terms of revenue, awards and reputation.

Jane has over 17 years’ industry experience in technology and digital marketing for both start-ups and agencies. Her client engagement experience includes P&G, Yum, Mondelez, Kraft, Huawei, BMW, Philips, Shell, Sony Ericsson, Mars and Johnson & Johnson etc.
Yvonne Man

Yvonne Man is the Hong Kong anchor for “Daybreak Asia”, Bloomberg Television’s flagship morning programme, delivering viewers the most pressing global business and financial information as U.S. markets close and Asian markets open.

Since joining Bloomberg in 2014, she has covered several key events around the region, including reporting live from the frontlines of Hong Kong's pro-democracy demonstrations that same year and breaking news at the 2016 G-7 summit in Japan.

Raised in Hong Kong, Yvonne received her Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Business Institutions from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in the U.S.

Prior to Bloomberg Television, she was a reporter and anchor with Fox-affiliate WXIN in Indianapolis, where she covered the 2012 U.S. elections and conducted a one-on-one interview with Republican front-runner Mitt Romney.

Mainardo de Nardis has been CEO of OMD Worldwide since 2009.

OMD Worldwide is a leading global media communications agency, recognized for its global footprint, strategic integration and creative innovation. It has been acknowledged as Most Creative Media Agency in the world by The Gunn Report for nine consecutive years; Adweek Global Media Agency of the Year for 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2014; the 2002, 2005, 2009 and 2011 Media Agency of the Year by Advertising Age; and Campaign’s 2015 Agency of the Year for both Greater China and Australia/New Zealand.

Prior to joining OMD he was CEO of both Aegis Media and MEC Worldwide. He was a co-founder of one of Italy's “third wave” ad agencies before moving from advertising to media communications to start Medianetwork, Italy’s first media independent.

Mainardo presided over the Cannes Festival’s Media Lions Jury in 2012 and sits on the Boards of Omnicom Media Group, IAB Agency Advisory Board and the Ad Council, among others.

He resides in NY and London with his family.
Sitha Nuon

Sitha hails from the remote village of Svay Rieng province. In 2004 and with no formal qualifications, she joined Havas Riverorchid as a receptionist. Ten years later she became head of the agency in 2014. Under her leadership, she manages to grow the business significantly and Gold award “Media Agency of Year” 2015 and 2016 from Campaign Asia.

With a team of 24 reporting to her, including three expatriates, she has grown into the most senior Cambodian media professional in the country.

She was awarded as “Agency Leader of the Year 2016” by Mumbrella Asia and listed as "40 under 40" for 2016 by Campaign Asia.

Her story is an on-going inspiration to people both within the agency and beyond. She is living proof of her view that “if you really want to achieve something just work hard with passion”.
Masako Okamura

It’s been more than ten years since Masako became the first female Creative Director at Dentsu. In 2014 she took up the Executive Creative Director role at Dentsu Vietnam, working on accounts of Toyota, Panasonic, Beer 333, JetstarPacific and Vinamilik.

Masako’s work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, Clio, Spikes, London International Awards (LIA) and AdFest. She has judged for Clio, YoungGuns, AdFest, Cannes, Spikes, One Show, LIA, ADC and many regional awards.

She has also been an associate professor at a local university for the last thirteen years. She loves wine and football, and is a season ticket holder of Chelsea FC.
Lindsay Pattison

Lindsay Pattison joined Maxus in October 2009 in the newly created position of UK CEO. In August 2012, Lindsay was named as the new Global Chief Strategy Officer for Maxus, working alongside her duties in the UK. In October 2014, Lindsay took the helm of Maxus Global as worldwide CEO.

Prior to Maxus Lindsay worked at PHD for 5 years and in media for nearly 20 years. Lindsay has also worked client-side at Sony Ericsson, after starting out at Young & Rubicam in a full-service environment.

Anne has specialised in brand and communications insights for most of her career, and in her current role is responsible for Kantar TNS’ Communication Research offer and strategy.

She is at the forefront of incorporating digital and social media data into brand and communications insights and is a big believer in the power of social and survey data together adding up to more than the sum of their parts.

Anne is responsible for ensuring Kantar TNS is at the forefront of the fast changing communications landscape, so is actively developing new innovative approaches to optimising content, and amplifying social media campaigns.

Angela's expertise is in digital industries where talent is scarce and specialized, solving business' talent issues and creating exceptional career experiences where people can reach their potential.

Atifa Silk

Atifa Silk has been covering the region’s marketing communications industry for 11 years, having joined Haymarket in 2000 as assistant editor on Media magazine. She became editor in 2006. In January 2011, she took on the role of editorial director for Haymarket’s Brand Media division, which includes Campaign Asia-Pacific and CEI, the region’s leading MICE magazine.

Atifa oversees content for all of Campaign’s print and digital products, as well as face-to-face events in the region.

Based in China for almost two decades, Lu Stout keeps a particular focus on how developments in China are dramatically changing the world for all of us. From anchoring CNN's groundbreaking 'Eye on China' series in 2004, to CNN's 'Countdown Beijing' ahead of the 2008 Olympics, Lu Stout has remained committed to reporting on the country. She was also instrumental in launching 'On China,' CNN's first-ever regular series focused on the country -- a first by any international TV news network.

Ruth has over 25 years’ experience in Media and Digital Marketing. She joined iProspect Asia Pacific to oversee the search and performance marketing services and accelerate the digital media capabilities across the group in 2011. Prior to this, Ruth held leadership roles with Mediabrands and GroupM Interaction Asia Pacific in the capacity of founding CEO, and spent 10 years with Euro RSCG Worldwide heading its digital media operations in New York, Hong Kong and Sydney.

During her five years as CEO for iProspect Asia Pacific, Ruth increased the business from 40 people to over 1,000, brought seven businesses into iProspect through acquisition and achieved over 50% growth in revenue YOY.

Bertilla was appointed CEO for Publicis Media Greater China in 2016 following several years at the helm of Starcom Mediavest Group (SMG), where under her leadership the agency was recognized as number 1 in China for 4 consecutive years (RECMA 2012-2015).

Bertilla has been instrumental in driving growth and transformation leading to a number of game-changing client wins including BMW and ABInBev as well as extensions to successful partnerships with P&G and Mars.

Publicis Media has already achieved industry recognition winning Campaign-Asia Greater China Agency of the Year Award in 2016, whilst Bertilla has received accolades including Campaign’s A-list.

His background in digital and data has meant he has always been passionate about technology and its impact on consumers and the advertising industry – this gives him a strong viewpoint of the future both for our business and what is needed to help clients thrive in such dynamic times.

Su-Mei Thompson is CEO of leading Hong Kong NGO, The Women’s Foundation.

Besides running TWF, Su-Mei serves on the board of Equal Opportunities Commission and Opera HK. She was a jury member for the 2016 Cannes Glass Lions Awards.

A passionate advocate for women's issues, she received the Communicator of the Year Gold Standard Award from PublicAffairsAsia last year and has been recognised by Debrett’s/SCMP as one of Hong Kong’s 100 Most Influential People.

Previously, Su-Mei held senior management roles at Disney, the Financial Times and Christie’s. She is a graduate of Cambridge, Oxford and IMD.
Seraphina Wong

Seraphina Wong is a seasoned brand management and marketing professional. Her career started at Estee Lauder and expanded during her time at Ogilvy and Dow Jones Wall Street Journal. At Philip Morris she drove marketing for Marlboro and led key advertising and sponsorship campaigns. She was recruited by UBS to unify the brand for the Swiss bank, and has taken on various brand management and marketing roles.
Seraphina is a founding and commitment member of the Marketing Society Asia.
Juliet Timms

Juliet has 30 years’ communications experience. After spells at Charles Barker and Royds, at 25 she successfully grew her own promotional-marketing agency.

In 1987, she was asked by BBH to set up their direct-marketing arm, Limbo. After 10 years at the helm Juliet was asked by the founding partners of BBH to focus on business development for the group. She carried out this role for four years before embarking on her search career at Kendall Tarrant in 2003.

In 2006, Juliet together with Gay and Jay Haines, formed the global executive search firm Grace Blue; placing candidates all over the world into the most influential positions in the industry.

Nick joined Aegis Media in March 2010 as CEO Aegis Media Asia Pacific and post acquisition became CEO of the Asia Pacific region for Dentsu Aegis Network. Prior to this, since its beginnings in 1997, Nick held a range of senior management roles across Europe and Asia at Mindshare, including CEO of Southeast Asia (2001-2005), CEO of Asia Pacific (2005-2006), and CEO of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (2006-2010). Prior to that, Nick worked in the media team at Ogilvy.
Shelley Zalis

Shelley Zalis is the founder of OTX (Online Testing Exchange), which in just nine years became one of the largest and fastest growing research companies in the world. She sold OTX to Ipsos in 2010, where she led global innovation in over 80 countries.

Shelley is the first female chief executive ranked in the research industry’s top 25 and has devoted herself to becoming a mentor and friend to women and leaders in her industry. Her most recent endeavor includes launching The Female Quotient and The Girls’ Lounge which support and mentor women to find their voice, embrace their feminine leadership powers and work together to transform corporate culture for this and future generations of women.

Shelley will also be the host of a new Bloomberg series titled “Walk The Talk” focused on gender equality and the critical importance of women in executive leadership.
