Mike’s entrepreneurial career spans multiple geographies, brand cultures and marketing disciplines. He has lived and worked in London, New York, Tokyo, Paris, Portland and Singapore, managing operations and clients for the world’s top agency networks, including McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, Wieden+Kennedy, TBWA\Worldwide, Grey Group, Project: WorldWide, and Starcom MediaVest Group. His extensive global brand experience includes Nike, Coca-Cola, American Express, Nissan, Gillette, P&G, Tiffany, Nabisco, Del Monte, Ermenegildo Zegna, Johnson & Johnson, Wal-Mart, Gucci, UPS, Nestlé, Hitachi, L’Oréal, Goodyear, Mattel, and many other Fortune 500 companies. Mike’s most recent appointment as Chairman & CEO of Havas Group, APAC leverages his unique 360 degree experience, so as to drive accelerated growth as well as expansion of the global Havas ‘Village’ concept across all 19 countries in the region. He is a native of Scotland, a graduate of Stirling University, holds UK & Swiss passports, and is a Permanent Resident of Singapore. When not helping clients grow their business, he tries to keep pace with his two very energetic teenage children.

As R/GA Tokyo’s Group Technology Director, Anthony leads multi-disciplinary teams in crafting strategic solutions that change brand experiences. Anthony joined the Tokyo office from R/GA London where he was behind internationally celebrated work spanning digital and physical events, online services, apps, backend engines and bespoke CMS, API design and integration, emerging technologies, hardware prototyping and machine learning. Some of Anthony’s projects include NikeID Interactive Mirror, Google Outside, #ShowYourColour for Beats by Dre and RayBan Ambermatic.

For over 30 years, Richard has been soaking in experiences and culture, traveling, living and working across Asia, Europe, Oceania and the US. During this time, he has worked successfully across all marketing communications facets - brand, advertising, crm/data, digital, sales promotion, shopper marketing, public relations and activation/experiential.

Richard has been lucky enough to start, build, change, reform, merge, acquire, adapt, grow and lead a wide range of award-winning independent and multinational agencies. He has counselled marketing organisations large and small, global and local, from a vastly diverse range of sectors and cultures. And has even sampled life as a marketer himself, working from 'the other side of the table' with the world’s most awarded agency.

At the beginning of 2010, Richard launched the global marketing management consultancy, The Observatory, into Asia Pacific, with the goal of transforming Marketer-Agency partnerships and performance. This premise has seen steady growth, with office openings in Japan and Korea, and retained clients across all key markets in the region.

Extending this premise further, Richard designed and championed the launch of the Asia Pacific Agency/Marketer Partnership Awards in 2014, which have highlighted the inextricable link between partnership excellence/innovation and superior marketing performance and effectiveness.

Matty is Creative Chief of Google Zoo, leading a specialised team of creatives, technologists and strategists working across Asia Pacific on Google’s most valuable and strategic partnerships. For the last twenty years Matty has worked in the creative fields working at some of the world’s most renowned creative agencies including The Glue Society, Saatchi & Saatchi NZ, Droga5 NYC and TBWA. Before joining Google he co-founded Special Group which is the current back to back branding and design agency of the year in Australia and Special Group Studios, a permanent art gallery in the heart of Surry Hills. He has produced award winning work which has seen him recognised with Grand Prix and Titaniums at Cannes, a Black Pencil at D&AD and a digital EMMY. He is an executive member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and is a mentor to junior talent, a judge for award shows and speaker on the power of creativity. Outside of advertising Matty co-founded Refill Magazine, a design and art based publication that has received international acclaim.

Jo is Managing Director of Google’s Agency Business for Asia Pacific responsible for strategic partnerships with the world’s largest media networks across the region. Formerly, she was the Managing Director for Google Singapore where she oversaw sales and business development from it’s regional hub. Jo is a business leader, and strategic marketer passionate about people, trends and change. Her motivations focus on driving impact at scale, solving big business problems and taking the less trodden path. In her 20 year career, she has led multinationals from the inside and out to embrace change through technology in a range of senior leadership positions at Ogilvy & Mather, Singapore Airlines and British Airways where she led amongst other things the respective airlines’ global foray into digital marketing, eCommerce and eService. She is a well regarded speaker at industry events on the topics of digital, innovation, creativity, technology and women in the workplace. She is on the Leadership Council of the Singapore iAB, and appointed to the Board of Singapore Tourism and National University Singapore ISS. She has authored publications, including the new path to purchase, 'Winning the Zero Moment of Truth - Asia'.

Erica Kerner is vice president of marketing and communications for Tiffany & Co. Asia Pacific. In this role she is responsible for all aspects of Tiffany's marketing and communications planning, strategy and implementation across all retail channels and all Asia Pacific countries.

She held a similar position at Ralph Lauren prior to joining Tiffany in 2013 and brings to her role more than 20 years of marketing experience in Asia Pacific, specifically Greater China. Working for adidas as director of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, she was responsible for all aspects of the company's marketing, sponsorship, licensing and business development activities. Erica and her team won China's first ever Cannes Gold Lion for the adidas Olympics campaign. Erica held the same role for adidas at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Before joining adidas, Erica was director of marketing and communications for Special Olympics China, helping to develop the program from 50,000 to 500,000 participants. In addition, as an account director at J. Walter Thompson Shanghai, she was responsible for creative advertising development, product development and retail marketing for DeBeers and PepsiCo.

Stephan Loerke

Stephan has been the CEO of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) since November 2003. During his tenure, WFA has tripled its corporate membership and has extended its network to 60 countries, significantly reinforcing the WFA’s presence in the world’s fastest emerging advertising markets.

Prior to joining WFA, Stephan worked for L'Oréal in Paris and Brussels. He studied business economics at the Saint Gall Business School in Switzerland, after which he worked at the United Nations in New York.

Stephan has German and French nationalities. He is married to Sabine and has two sons, Sebastian and Alexandre.

As Asia-Pacific CEO, Kyoko Matsushita oversees Essence’s rapidly expanding regional operations through hubs in Delhi, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. Before Essence, Matsushita was vice president of global product and business for GREE, a leading mobile gaming company. Earlier, she led B2C marketing for online and mobile games for Electronic Arts in EMEA and APAC. Matsushita also oversaw media and creative strategy for SONY Europe and was global account director for Leo Burnett/Starcom Media, where she worked on accounts like Coca-Cola, Disney, and Heineken.

In October 2015, Kyoko was named one of “The 30 most powerful women in mobile advertising” by Business Insider in the UK. in 2016 she was named as one of the "Women to Watch" by Campaign Asia . She is a sought after speaker in the prominent trade events in APAC.

Mark has overall responsibility for all WPP’s media businesses in the region including its media agencies Mindshare, Mediacom , Wavemaker and Essence plus the programmatic digital media platform Xaxis. GroupM invests $27bn on behalf of its clients in Asia Pacific with a market share of 39% (source RECMA). Major clients include Unilever, HSBC, Google, Nike, Ford, P&G, L’Oreal, Pepsi , Huawei , Alibaba and LVMH. Having started his media career in London at Clear Channel and moved on in 1988 to Ogilvy & Mather progressing by 1994 to Media Group Director. In 1996 he joined 20:20 Media becoming Managing Director before moving to Tokyo in late 2000 to join Mindshare as Japan CEO. His role was extended in 2002 to North Asia to include China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea and relocated to Hong Kong in 2003. In 2006 he assumed the role of GroupM North Asia CEO and in 2010 became the CEO of GroupM Asia Pacific. Mark until recently was a board director of CASBAA the Asia Pacific pay TV body and is on the fund-raising committee of Mother’s Choice a HK based charity helping young mothers with crisis pregnancies.

David is responsible for one of the largest media budgets in a diverse region spanning 14 time zones. He is responsible for driving the company’s innovation in Communications Channel Planning with a strong focus on Unilever’s development as a major force in digital marketing in the region.

David was educated at Dulwich College, London and later at the Open University Business School, UK. He spent 25 years in UK agencies before a 7-year stay in Asia Pacific with Mindshare, where he managed the agency’s multimarket relationship with Unilever.

He joined Unilever in 2010 and has managed its media operations in multiple markets including APAC.

David lives in Singapore with his wife and two children.

Karim Temsamani

Karim Temsamani oversees all of Google’s sales and operations across the AsiaPacific region, determining the strategy for 16 offices and the regional business strategy for Google products including AdWords, AdMob, Google Maps, Google Apps for Business, DoubleClick Ad Exchange, YouTube and AdSense. Prior to this, he was Google’s Global Head of Mobile. He oversaw the growth of Google’s mobile advertising business worldwide, leading the teams charged with providing advertising services and solutions to thousands of advertisers, developers, and publishers. From 2007 to 2010, Karim was Managing Director, Google Australia and New Zealand, leading its business and strategic partnerships in those countries. Karim joined Google from Fairfax Media, where he was Commercial Director for Newspapers (responsible for agency and group sales, trade marketing and business development) and Group Director, Fairfax General Magazines. From 1999 to 2002, he was the Publisher and Vice President of Who Weekly at Time Inc., South Pacific. He has previously served in a variety of senior capacities with Hachette Filippachi Media, in Hong Kong, Korea and Australia.

Atifa Silk has been covering the region’s marketing communications industry for 11 years, having joined Haymarket in 2000 as assistant editor on Media magazine. She became editor in 2006. In January 2011, she took on the role of editorial director for Haymarket’s Brand Media division, which includes Campaign Asia-Pacific and CEI, the region’s leading MICE magazine.

Atifa oversees content for all of Campaign’s print and digital products, as well as face-to-face events in the region.
